What do I bring to my appointment?

  1. Your insurance card(s) or health coverage information.  Some insurance carriers require you to have a referral or primary care physician authorization before treatment is given.  Please check with your carrier if you are in doubt.
  2. Photo Identification
  3. Medication List
  4. Walking shorts or athletic shoes for knee examination
  5. X-Rays or MRI's not older then twelve months
  6. Clinic notes or operative reports from your referring physician that relates to your condition.

What are your office hours?

Monday through Friday: 8am - 5pm

Closed Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays

What is an Orthopedic Surgeon?

An Orthopedic Surgeon is a medical doctor who specializes in the treatment of the musculoskeletal system.  This system includes bones, joints, muscles, and any related painful conditions.

What is a Physician Assistant?

Physician Assistants are health care professionals licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision.  Physician Assistants see patients in the office, as well as assist the physicians in surgery.

How do I make an appointment?

Appointments may be made Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm by calling (731)427-7888.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

For visits of an urgent nature, we can usually schedule appointments on the same day you call or the next day.

Do I need a referral from my primary care physician to see you?

Depending upon your insurance carrier, you may or may not need a referral from your primary care provider.  Please check with your primary care physician to find out if you need a referral, or contact our billing department by calling (731)427-7888.

Can you get my x-rays or other diagnostic imaging sent to you from the hospital so that I don't have to pick them up?

No. Due to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) privacy laws and regulations, we maintain a standard policy of requesting patients to obtain their own x-rays to bring with them to their appointment with us.

How long will my visit take?

Expect to spend about 45-60 minutes on your initial visit.  Follow-up visits will vary depending upon your plan of care.
